Sometimes the site and the weather seem to conspire to prevent predictable construction. In this case, the conditions on this distribution center construction site proved to be very different than the geotechnical report, requiring more pre-construction work than anticipated. So during a break in the persistently wet weather, a marathon night-and-day pour of 90,000 square feet of concrete for the tilt-wall building was necessary to overcome the time lost due to site conditions to complete the 235,000 square feet buiding. In the end, Carden Company pulled the team together that could get the job done, on time.
