When Academy Sports decided to build their first Tennessee store in Cool Springs, they discovered that their original building design had to be altered to meet the area’s code requirements. The alterations created their new prototype design.
For the Rivergate store, they came back to Carden to build their new design. For this project, though, there were different concerns. The land they purchased required a great deal of site work and they had a very ambitious build schedule in mind: start in December, finish in June, open before the Fourth of July. Good organization and the cooperative efforts of everyone from owners to subcontractors assured the on-time opening.
